FAQ's

What does an Appraisal Mean?
An appraisal is an estimate of the value of a certain property by a qualified, independent individual.

Why Would I Get My Horse Appraised?

People get Appraisals for many reasons, Perhaps you want to insure your horse. Perhaps for tax purposes, divorces, loans, bankruptcies, establishing and/or dissolving business partnerships, donations, family trusts, for realtors. Make sure your purchasing a horse for a decent price and that the horse would be good for the discipline you want. If your selling your horse, you want the price its worth. We also appraise stallions to help set your fees.

How Do You Appraise A Horse?

Appraisals are based on Conformation, Training, Bloodlines (though not always), what discipline the horse is used in. Local and National Sales Comparison along with Replacement Cost and Income are also used.
